Our Horseback Riding Adventures

At Beaver Creek Outfitters, we offer short, one-hour rides that are perfect for beginners as well as two-and-a-half-hour rides that allow you to take in beautiful views along Colorado’s most famous trails. We accommodate children as young as eight years old so you can embark on family rides that they’ll remember forever.

For those who’ve had riding lessons and are experienced on horseback, we can take you on more challenging trails rather than a leisurely ride. Outdoor enthusiasts can embark on multi-day guided tours which include rides through scenic mountains, fishing, and camping under the stars.

Here at Beaver Creek Outfitters we love our horses, and know that our business or opportunities we offer, wouldn’t exist without them. So for that reason we do have a max weight limit of 275lbs per horse. We also DO NOT offer double riding for the safety of you and your loved ones as well as our horses.

Before horseback riding, Colorado Springs locals and tourists have to come prepared. We aim to make your trip as smooth as possible and prepare you for your journey with the following tips:

  • Wear proper attire: We schedule rides during all seasons and weather. Check the forecast and make sure you wear comfortable clothing for the temperature as well as closed-toe shoes like boots or sneakers.
  • Pack correctly: Even short rides can become uncomfortable if you don’t pack accordingly. Bring sunscreen or insect repellent on warm-weather rides as well as your ID.
  • Consider physical stature: While we’d love for all people to take trips with us, safety remains our top priority. We cannot accommodate children younger than seven or people weighing more than 275 pounds. Before you book a trip consider your physical stature and the others you wish to ride with.

Reservations

When you have selected the trip and the dates of your choice, contact us to make your reservation. Fifty percent of your fee is required as a deposit and no reservation will be held without deposit. Forms of payment accepted are CC(3.5% processing fee), Venmo, Applepay, Cashapp or cash. It is due prior to departing on your ride. Cancellations will be charged a 50% scheduling fee or the opportunity to reschedule. Beaver Creek Outfitters will guarantee a full refund if it is unable to provide the scheduled trip.
